Would you like to attend

the 2015 European cancer congress in Vienna as mpne fellow?

25th- 29th September 2015

for European Melanoma patient advocates

Are you interested in attending ECC2015 to hear the latest Melanoma news, follow an entire track designed for patient advocates and get to know other Melanoma advocates?

Why attending?

The European Cancer Congress is one of the biggest cancer congresses world-wide and we are expecting a number of important Melanoma updates.

Advocates are important sources of information for patients. We therefore strongly encourage Melanoma advocates to educate themselves and ECC2015 does not only offer the opportunity to hear the latest Melanoma news but also to attend sessions on general advocacy topics and to learn from other cancer advocates.

MPNE is about sharing knowledge and information and we are planning to test some new platforms. Fellows will be part of that and we are looking forward to your ideas how to reach even more European Melanoma patients!

Visiting large congresses alone can be daunting- which is why we will make sure fellows get to know each other and get the most out of the conference visit!

What does the fellowship cover?

MPNE will organise and cover accommodation for fellows in shared apartments as well as access to the congress. Travel needs to be organised by the fellows themselves, travel expenses (2nd class, economy) will be covered up to 350 Euro after attendance of the full congress against receipts. Please note that we will not cover meals.

Who can apply?

European Melanoma advocates with a working knowledge of English

What do we expect?

MPNE fellows are expected

  • to attend the Melanoma sessions on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday,
  • to take part in our efforts to report as fast and widely as possible for the European Melanoma patient community- we are going to test different social media channels!
  •  to plan and man the MPNE booth together with other advocates for a certain time- this is the opportunity to share your successful advocacy work with the wider Cancer community!
