Attend the 11th EADO Congress with a group of like-minded European Melanoma Advocates, listen to the latest updates in Melanoma and test with us social media tools for inspiration of your own advocacy activities!
Who should apply?
Knowledge is crucial for advocates, it can be difficult to get started and we've received many requests from you for introductory workshops.
This QuickStart workshop is therefore for European Melanoma advocates who are looking fora fast introduction to Melanoma and its latest therapies and who want to explore different social media channels to share that knowledge with as many Melanoma patients as possible.
Attendance is upon application only, selected participants will be provided with free conference registration, accommodation and meals as well as reimbursement of travel costs for up to a maximum of 300 EUR (after attendance of the meeting and against original receipts and a completed reimbursement form). You will need to bring a digital device with access to the internet and we will ensure to have access to WiFi in all areas.
Conference Visit
The 11th EADO congress will be held October 28-31, 2015 in the Palais du Pharo, Marseille, France and is a major meeting in Dermato- Oncology with interesting Melanoma news. Find out more with the Congress President's Welcome Addressand the Conference Program. Acceptance to the workshop includes a registration to the EADO Congress.
Workshop Sessions
Our aim is to share relevant Melanoma updates with as many Melanoma patients as possible. Therefore, we have organised workshop sessions around the Conference Program for additional Melanoma background but also to explore different social media tools. So please bring your digital devices of choice- laptop/ tablets/ smartphones- as aim is to cover the EADO congress for European Melanoma advocates via social media.

'Test and report’ practical session
We will test different social media platforms in groups for their use in advocacy and report back to the group.
